Vince DiDomenico

Vince came from Italy to Michigan as a young man, starting D&G Cement in 1967. By 1993 he had founded D&G Building Company to bring his family’s cherished values of integrity, reliability, and hard work to the commercial development industry. Before long, his son Nino, daughter Toni, and son-in-law John had joined the business as well.

A true visionary, Vince spearheaded Southeastern Michigan’s ambitious new "aerotropolis," which transformed the entire landscape around Detroit Metropolitan Airport and D&G’s Romulus headquarters. Despite the region’s many economic ups and downs, Vince has thrived, creating a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and more than a million square feet of managed property. Through it all, Vince DiDomenico has added a large measure of heart to the brick and mortar of Southeastern Michigan’s construction industry.

John Romano

Vince’s son-in-law John graduated from the College of Business at the University of Michigan, working in business and sales for nearly a decade. He joined D&G soon after its incorporation in 1998. Sharing Vince DiDomenico's vision, he quickly immersed himself in the construction industry, supervising and managing many of the company’s projects. As a three-year volunteer for the City of Westland's Downtown Development Authority, John Romano has lived urban planning and design on both sides of the fence—hands-on experience that benefits our clients’ planning and permitting needs every day.

Nino DiDomenico

Following in his father's footsteps, Nino graduated from the College of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University, and worked in many facets of construction and design until 2002, when he joined D&G. As an experienced and well-rounded project supervisor, he has managed many of the company’s industrial, commercial, and office building construction projects of all sizes and complexities.
